Wow! I can not believe it has been a year!

Well it has been a very eventful year! We have been on a few adventures and found some really great things to do in New Orleans. The Strawberry Festival is definitely our favorite event each year!! We have year passes to the zoo and the aquarium so we are there all the time! Tyler is registered and will start Preschool in August!! I can not believe that my little boy is 4 years old and starting school this year!! He is growing up so fast! We are also discussing when we will start expanding our family even more! We are very excited to bring another little one into the world!!

NEW ORLEANS!!!

Well we have made the move from Yuma, AZ to New Orleans, LA ... we are now living on base in Belle Chasse and we are loving it!! It is definitely a change from Yuma and it is going to take some getting used too.. We are very slowly unpacking and getting the house the way we want it! We were lucky and got a 3 bedroom and a garage and back yard! It is going to be fun being able to spend more time outside!!!  We purchased family passes for the zoo and aquarium so Tyler and I can go whenever we want!! I am hoping to have the house done soon so that we can finally relax and have it feel like home here! I have already met some amazing ladies! Great people here!!!

Christmas Eve!

Santa has officially visited our house!! I am so very excited to see Tyler's face in the morning! We have gotten so much done in the last few days! This move is going to be easier than I thought. Well hopefully..... I can't wait for my sweet little mans 3rd birthday!! He is growing up way too fast!! All the Christmas decor will come down tomorrow evening an the 26th so we can get his birthday decor up for the 27th!!!!

I am such a horrible blogger!

Well I know that I have once again not written in a very very long time.. I am going to try and keep this short and to the point as I have a ton of stuff to get done! ....   Well lets start by saying that we are so very happy that Frank will be home for good on Thursday! He has done amazing at his school and we are so very proud of him! However, we are ready to have him all to ourselves again!! We also found out that we have a house when we move!!! We will be going to NAS JRB New Orleans! I was very much not happy about the move at first but I am really excited to go and see a new place! I have also met some amazing women on the wives site for New Orleans! I am very excited to meet them all in person!! We are as decorated for Christmas as we are going to get.. lol.. Mom and Dad will be here on Saturday and will be staying til we leave Yuma on Jan. 4th!!! I am so blessed to have the family that I have! I think that I have hit all the high points so I am going to get some more stuff done around the house! I have set a reminder to blog everyday.. lol.. We will see if it works! 

Another long awaited update!

I know it has been a long time since I updated everyone.. although not many people read this at all.. i am thinking about starting a page for a blog instead of using this site.. we will see what happens.. i want to start blogging once a week if not more than that on a regular basis......

Catch up time!!!

So it has been a really long time since i updated.. We have had the opportunity to go to Hawaii for my brothers wedding!! It is so beautiful there!! I could easily see us living there and swimming in the ocean every day!! We are very excited to have Colin's wife Candice as our new member of the family!! She is amazing and we all love her very much!! I will be going to Las Vegas in a few days for the Scentsy Convention!! I am so excited!! This will be the first time i have ever left Tyler for more than one day so I am a bit nervous.. However, I am looking forward to the "me" time that I will be getting!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well once again it has been way too long since I have posted! It is Mother's Day and we are missing Frank alot today! We do have a few fun plans made!! We are now down to less than a month before we leave for Hawaii!!! 3 weeks from today to be exact!! I am so very very excited for my little brother to be getting married!!!

Its been way too long again!!

Well we have been very busy lately.. Frank is off at school again and we are visiting family all over!! My brother is getting married this summer in Hawaii so we will be taking a huge family trip there!! We are so very excited for  what lies ahead for our sweet little family.. I will update more later!! Love you all!!!

New Camera!

We recently got a new camera!! We got a Canon Rebel T3! I love it so so so much! We have already taken so many pictures and we are looking forward to learning how to take some really great pictures of our family! My mom left to head back to Texas yesterday and we are missing her so very much already! Tyler got really attached to her this time and keeps asking for her.. We are looking forward to going to Lubbock for Christmas and spending the holidays with family!!!!

We got a Thunderstorm!!!

We had a great Labor Day!! Dinner at the Smallwood's house was great and we had a blast hanging out!! We even got a thunderstorm today!! Our streets and yards are flooded but it was well worth it! Tyler loved playing outside in the water and we are enjoying the cooler weather while it lasts!! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day!!

September!

So there has been so much going on that I had not realized that I had not posted in over a month!! We have been getting ready for Tyler and I to go to Lubbock for a few weeks! Hopefully I will sell some jewelry and see some family and friends!! Tyler has a doctors appt before we leave town as well as myself! Hopefully we will get all of this ulcer mess taken care of!! We are very very much looking forward to our 4 day weekend!! We will be spending some much needed family time together as well as getting the house completely cleaned!!! We will hopefully start getting some cooler weather soon! The snowbirds are starting to head our way and we want to be able to get outside and play for more than half an hour!!!

It is not my day.....

So today has been quite the day.. From dealing with my son deciding to scream all morning.. To trying to deal with the people at Time Warner.. Ugh!! I am glad it is already 4pm so I know that bed time is just around the corner.. I am so ready for Frank to be here tomorrow night! We miss him terribly and we are ready to have him home.. Although he will only be here for the night it is still something! Once I got Tyler down for nap time the day got much better! I got some cleaning done and now we are watching Tangled! He loves this movie so much! He is so cute when we watch it too.. He laughs at all the right places and he keeps talking about her hair!! hahahaa!! Well hopefully the rest of the day continues down the good path! ha! We are just about to start making dinner and then we will probably head upstairs for an early bedtime!

What a wonderful Saturday!!

We have been hanging out and snacking on yummy food all day today!! We got Frank all 3 Lord of the Rings movies on Bluray so we are watching them today as well! It has been such a great day with my wonderful family!  It has been a long time since we have had a day where we could truly just sit down and relax together! I hate that Frank will be going back and forth to the field all week... However, we will see him more than we usually do when he is in the field! Getting ready for dinner and a wonderful end to this wonderful Saturday!!!

Ok I have really been bad about posting...

So there has been quite a bit going on here since I last posted.. We were super excited when Frank came home and we headed to Lubbock! Of course once we got to Lubbock, I ended up in the hospital and Frank and Tyler ended up getting pretty sick! After we got over being home bound we got out and finally saw some friends! So glad that we had the time to see people we havent seen in a long time.. Unfortunately we had a run in with some family that didnt end well.. It makes me sad because Tyler doesnt deserve to have to be around any of that crap.. Oh well.. We are glad to be back home and getting back to our routine!  Looking forward to tons of time at the park and in the pool!!

Its Friday!!

Well we said bye to Frank this morning.. He will be in the field for 12 days.. I am going to be doing whatever I can to make the next 12 days go by as fast as possible!! Although when he gets home we head to Lubbock for 15 days!! I am so looking forward to the vacation!! Tyler was so cute when he said bye to daddy.. he kept blowing him kisses even after he left.. He then came running into the living room saying "love daddy".. it brought me to tears.. I hate that he realizes when Frank is gone for long periods of time.. He gets so sad... We do have a ton of outings planned though.. Headed to the park on monday and the aquatic center on thursday! then a fun filled weekend in the pool in the back yard!!  Meanwhile... I have to get this house ready for us to be gone for 2 weeks.. Lots of stuff to put away and I have to get the house sprayed for bugs before we go.. fun stuff!!!

Horrible Headaches

I hate it when I start to feel this way because everyone in the house suffers... I have been getting migraines that last days at a time.. Thankfully they are only happening once every few weeks.. Of course the doctors cant find a reason for my headaches so they wont diagnose them as migraines.. Which meas that I dont get medicine for migraines.. I always end up with pain pills.. I hate to take them because I cant take care of Tyler while I am on them.. So more often than not I just take Tylenol and work through it.. Tonights headache is pretty bad and I need to get rid of it... I wont be able to sleep if I dont and I am going on a crappy nights sleep already!!!!

Busy Busy Month!!!

So since I last posted we have been running around like crazy! Had a great time in San Diego for the weekend.. Frank has been super busy at work! lol! We are looking forward to our trip to Lubbock at the end of the month!! Cant wait to spend time with our family!!! We have been getting out alot around Yuma as well.. We are meeting some really really great people! Tyler loves the big park over by our house! We got a blow up swimming pool and a silly sprinkler for the back yard and he is loving that as well!! It helps us get through the really hot days here!! Tyler is getting so very big!! I cant believe that he is almost 18 months old already! Time is going by very fast!! I swear we brought him home from the hospital just a few days ago!!! Well we are gonna head outside to go swimming!!!

Been too long...

So sorry that it has been a while since I have posted anything.. We are all doing wonderful here!! Tyler is talking up a storm lately! He is trying to repeat everything and it is so funny to hear him talk to his toys!! Frank is doing awesome in school and we are almost within a year of him graduating!! We are getting close to going to Lubbock for the firework stand and we are all very very excited to go! I miss my family and it will be awesome to be able to spend 2 weeks with them!! I am starting up a jewelery business also! Lia Sophia is an amazing jewelery company and I will be a consultant next month!! They have amazing stuff!! I am so glad to be able to join their company! Tyler and I have been able to get out and spend some time with some amazing people here lately! It is nice to have other mommies and kids to hang out with! Today is a wonderful day already! We are planning to get out of the house and make the most of it! I will be posting more about the jewelery business once i get started up!!!

Finally all home again!

So we are all finally back home again! We went to the Yuma Airshow and had an amazing time! We are going to the Yuma Fair this evening! Frank has a 3 day weekend so it will be nice to spend some family time together.. We are going to put together our new grill and have a bbq.. We are really going to enjoy this summer! Parties in the back yard with Tyler running around in the sprinkler!! We are really looking forward to going home to Lubbock for the 4th of July too!!!

Off to Denver...

Well Tyler and I are off to Denver tomorrow.. My friends sweet baby girl is in the NICU and hopefully will be going home soon.. I hate that they are having to go through this but I am glad that I can be there to help.. I am very excited to see how Tyler does with her kids.. They were around when he was born so they know who he is... We are going to miss Frank like crazy but I have to go and help.. They have always been there for us and it doesnt feel right to not be there for them.. We are hoping that maybe Frank can come up and spend a few days himself but we will see.. Other than that things are going great.. Tyler is getting bigger everyday!
